SWITHLAND 6

The SWITHLAND 6 is the Leicester Road Running League race that we organise each year.

It’s a one lap 6 mile undulating course on quiet rural roads and pavements around Swithland Reservoir.

​

In 2025 the race is on Sunday 8th June at 09:30am.

Online entries for this year's race will open at 8pm on 27th April 2025.

Entry fee is £ (TBC) affiliated / £ (TBC) unaffiliated and is restricted to 750 entrants.

There are no entries or changes on the day. 

 

Minimum age is 15 on day of entry. Any junior runner MUST be a member of an Affiliated Club which has a safeguarding policy and has a Club Officer holding a current Athletics DBS Certificate present at the race. 

 

Entries for the first 7 days will be restricted to members of those clubs that are affiliated with the LRRL.

If the entries are not full by the 28th of April then the race will continue to be advertised as an open event. 

 

Closing date for transfers (via evententry.co.uk) will be 3rd June 2025.

For safety reasons no headphones / ear buds / bone-conductors - any use will lead to disqualification.

​

Limited parking available so please car share. Toilets and changing facilities will be available.
