CLUB STANDARDS

Aim high

Club standards are the way to measure how fast you are running at different run distances. It gives club members a benchmark of standards to aim for each year.

E.g. If you are a male runner (aged 44) and you can run a Parkrun (5k) in under 24 mins you have reached our 'Silver' standard. If you run the same distance in 20m30s then you will make 'Gold' standard.

To qualify you must achieve the same standard in 4 races:

3x Category A distances (from 5km to 9mile) and 1x Category B distance (10mile/HM/20mile/Marathon).

A full list of standards per distance per age for men and women can be seen here: CLUB STANDARDS TABLE

There is no requirement to take part in Club Standards unless you want to.
